Your role

If you are getting a website designed by Rubble, you will need to provide us with:

  • Your logo (PMS colours of your logo if you have them)
  • Photos or images you want to use
  • Graphics you want to use
  • Examples of other resources: Brochures, Business Cards, Letterhead etc. so we can get an idea of any design style that is already established or important to your brand.
  • Any colours you like / dislike
  • A list of any sites you like / dislike
  • Text content. What you want to say on each page (For example most sites have common pages such as Home, About Us, History, Products / Services, Contact Us)
  • The ftp address, user name and password, so I can have access to your site.
(Please let us know if you require Rubble to register your domain name and / or host your website.

Format

Images or Graphics
Any logos, pictures, photos or graphics may be received in the following format
PDF, Photoshop files, Illustrator files, eps, tiff, jpg etc.
Please
contact us if you are unsure.

Text files
The text for you site can be emailed to us in word, raw text format etc.
Please
contact us if you are unsure.

As a general rule the higher quality file you can send us the better. Even though any graphics or images will end up at a low quality for the web it is useful to supply us with reasonably high resolution files if you do have them in order for us to get the best results.

You can either burn the content and files onto CD or you could email them to us. * Please note: Only send files under 5mb via email.

Alternatively send us a hard copy of your business cards, letter head, photos etc. if you don't have it on file (at a reasonable quality) and we will scan it in.

Why are you on the internet?

Who is going to be viewing your site?

What is the most important information they will want to find out?

What it is that you want them to be able to find out?

Please note:

Any newspaper ads, low quality magazine ads etc. are not ideal as they are poor quality. They may be useful to give us an idea of a style you may want to follow, but won’t be good enough quality to scan successfully from.
